my first ever flight-sim was A320 AIRBUS on the Atari ST. In that you had to plot your route using various beacons. Then you had to look-up all the radio-frequencies for these in a table, and plug those into your radio in turn to get the headings.
Finally you had to look up the frequency of the ILS for the airport you were landing at then plug that into the radio as you approached.
Sometimes i really miss such micro-management.
Is the ILS in FSX automatically tuned-in for you, or do you have to do this manually?
Is there a way of micromanaging the beacon frewuencies for the auto pilot as in the above example? And where would I find their frequncies if there is?
