Pros: Easy setup
Cons:

Just got my Saitek yoke and rudder (sold seperately) and I must say I am impressed.

Feels solid, easy movement and the yoke has its own USB hub so everything connects easily.

Setup on vista was instant and FSX recognised everything immediately.

Takes flight sim to a whole new level, highly recommended.

Pros: realistic look and feel
Cons: limited programming buttons

Used this system together with ch pedals for a while then stored them for six months. Upgraded MSFX to Accelerated and bought FlightX-9. Hooked up the system again- the yoke to the computer, the throttle and pedals to the connections on the back of the yoke and everthing failed to function. Either the yoke itself failed and passed on that failure to the pedals or each failed independently. The throttle body's power light is the only light that shows, but none of the 3 are recognized by the computer. Gremlins, maybe

Does anyone have an idea how to correct this? In the meantime I use a Thrustmaster HOTAS joystick/throttle combo, but it is limited to the amount of programming that can be done.

My computer is quad-core processor 2.9GHz, 6GB Ram, 750GB hard drive, 1Gb Radeon HD 5570 video - so the computer set-up is probably adequate.

If I can't re-start the Saitek Pro Yoke system or CH pedals, I'll have to buy something else. Any suggestions? Which controls do you prefer?

I'll be 80 in Nov., flew for 25 yrs (Comm'l ASMEL, Inst., Gliders, Flt Inst Airplanes, Insturments & Gliders) but haven't flown for 25, so eager to get "back in the air"

Aloha from Hawaii

Pros: Easy To Set Up/ Take Down
Cons: Limited Programming for buttons

Very good flight yoke for a beginner other than not having rudder pedals this yoke is ready to go after you install the drivers. After owning one myself for almost two years the only wear Ive had it on the throttle quadrant one sensor went bad. I would recommend this for anyone.
